About me

I’m a German artist, currently based in Barcelona, with time spent living and working in London.

Art has always been an important part of my life—not just as a result, but as a process. It’s a way to slow down, to focus, and to step outside of the noise of everyday routines. Creating something, no matter how simple, has a way of bringing clarity and balance.

I started with oil painting and exhibited some of my work in London. Over time, my practice shifted. These days, drawing has become my main form of expression—partly by choice, partly by circumstance.

With a full-time job and a young family, time is limited, and drawing allows me to create in those small windows, without preparation, but with the same intention.

Living in Barcelona continues to shape how I see things. The city is full of detail, movement, and contrast—historic and modern, structured and organic—and naturally invites observation.

Much of my work explores the meeting point between what we build and what grows. I’m drawn to moments where structure and nature coexist, overlap, or soften one another. It’s less about realism and more about imagining how these worlds connect.

Alongside drawing, photography has become a simple way to capture what stands out. Often taken in passing, these snapshots are less about planning and more about noticing—light, patterns, places, and small moments that might otherwise go unseen.

I don’t see art as something fixed or defined. It can be quiet or expressive, simple or conceptual. What matters is the act of noticing, creating, and engaging with it in a personal way.

This space brings together different parts of that perspective—nothing more, nothing less.
